A shopping centre extension with VELUX Ridgelight and VELUX Longlight solutions to obtain the optimal level of natural light
This extension was an opportunity for the Villebon 2 Shopping centre to increase its attractiveness to customers.
The project was managed entirely by client Immochan, with the aim of obtaining BREEAM certification.
One of the main challenges was to choose the correct rooflight solution and the right orientation in order to reduce energy consumption for lighting, heating and air conditioning in summer.
The VELUX Modular Skylight solution was therefore selected to meet these objectives.
The client was convinced by the solution's thermal and acoustic performance, both in winter and in summer. 1m x 3m modules provide maximum natural light and natural ventilation.
