The research facility of international biotechnology company Genmab has a meticulous focus on design, functionality and sustainability.

Genmab’s reconstructed research facility is a technological and sustainable wonder. The design combines technology and sustainability in a way that brings the outside in and increases creativity.

The design is very distinct with a centrally located glass atrium featuring cascading, free-hanging platforms. The atrium part of the building is glazed on all sides and nature surrounds the building.

  • Maximum daylight enters the central atrium through VELUX Modular Skylights that are neatly incorporated into the building design.
  • The ventilation in the meeting rooms, the restaurant, science café and auditorium is controlled based on pre-determined CO₂ thresholds to keep the indoor climate comfortable.
  • The research facility is BREEAM Excellent certified

The reconstruction of the research facility has improved the work environment and helps attract top scientists.
