Genmab’s reconstructed research facility is a technological and sustainable wonder. The design combines technology and sustainability in a way that brings the outside in and increases creativity.
The design is very distinct with a centrally located glass atrium featuring cascading, free-hanging platforms. The atrium part of the building is glazed on all sides and nature surrounds the building.
- Maximum daylight enters the central atrium through VELUX Modular Skylights that are neatly incorporated into the building design.
- The ventilation in the meeting rooms, the restaurant, science café and auditorium is controlled based on pre-determined CO₂ thresholds to keep the indoor climate comfortable.
