The VELUX Group appoints Bart Goetzee as new Senior Vice President for VELUX Commercial

Bart brings extensive experience and expertise, that will help consolidate VELUX Commercial, which comprises 2 acquisitions and a team from the VELUX Group.

He comes from a position as CEO of SDC, Sectional Doors & Components, a division within the ASSA ABLOY Group, a global player in automatic entrance systems. SDC was created by consolidating various acquisitions in the sectional doors space like FlexiForce, Normstahl and Crawford.

Through his career, Bart has built experience in leading international businesses operating in low-margin competitive markets, with B2B project-driven sales as the main go-to-market model. Bart’s leadership experience spans the entire value chain from supplier handling and procurement, project-driven sales and marketing activities to production, logistics, distribution and aftersales services.

Bart’s appointment comes at a crucial juncture for VELUX Commercial as the company continues to solidify its position. Together with the VELUX Commercial Leadership Team, Bart will lead the continued development of the division as a single, independent business area under the VELUX brand.

Bart Goetzee is 53 years old and lives in the southern part of the Netherlands with his wife with whom he has three adult children. Bart’s main place of work will be Hüllhorst in Germany, which is the most significant market for VELUX Commercial.
