XLS

The system is designed to cover a range of spans with minimal structural support:

• 2.5 m slope length × 1.0 m wide panel (self-supporting)
• 2.8 m slope length × 0.6 m wide panel (self-supporting)
• 6.0 m slope length × 0.8 m wide panel (requires mid-support)

Modules are factory prefabricated, and site-built upstands must be at least 100 mm wide and 150 mm high.

• Prefabricated aluminium frames with interlocking design.
• Flashings supplied from factory, ensuring a precise and weather-resistant finish.
• Aluminium finish: natural or polyester powder coated in any standard RAL colour (to BS EN 12206-1:2004, 40 μm minimum).
• Internal covers: self-finish white UPVC.
• Special solutions: monopitch, wall-abutting designs or dual monopitch forming a ridgelight.

XLS uses multiwall polycarbonate glazing with UV protection, available in clear or opal finishes.

• 16 mm 5-wall polycarbonate: U-value 1.9 W/m²K; light transmission 69% (clear), 39% (opal).
• 25 mm 5-wall polycarbonate: U-value 1.6 W/m²K (Part L compliant); light transmission 60% (clear), 30% (opal); noise reduction Rw 18 dB.

Panels can incorporate comfort ventilation with openings up to 1.0 m wide × 1.4 m high, operated by a chain actuator.

• Classified TP(a) and achieving Class B-s1, d0 for reaction to fire.
• External fire performance certified to B_ROOF(t4).
• Fragility tested to ACR[M]001 Class B.

• Thermal insulation: U-values down to 1.6 W/m²K (25 mm option).
• Light transmission: up to 69% with clear glazing.
• Noise reduction: up to Rw 18 dB with 25 mm glazing.
• Fire performance: B_ROOF(t4) external, Class B-s1, d0 internal.
• Durability: lightweight yet robust extruded aluminium frame system.

• Wall-abutting installation possible with bespoke flashings at head and sides.
• Dual mono-pitched ridgelight solutions available with supporting ridge detail.
• Prefabricated factory flashings simplify site installation and improve weathering.
• Custom RAL colour finishes for integration with building design.
