Polycarbonate dome rooflights

An ideal material for industrial and commercial applications, VELUX Commercial’s polycarbonate domes offer strength, durability and low U-values for thermal efficiency.

Our polycarbonate dome range is known for providing versatility, combined with easy installation and a long service life for increased economic efficiency. Solutions are available for smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV).

These single unit rooflights are installed on upstands for maximum weatherproofing. A variety of shapes and sizes are available in both clear and diffused polycarbonate. Other options include additional polycarbonate layers for extra thermal performance.

Flat glass rooflights

For the ultimate in appearance and performance flexibility, VELUX Commercial’s flat glass rooflights are an excellent choice to flood areas with light where space can be a challenge. Single unit rooflights are a perfect choice for stairways, corridors and to add feature lighting to a space. With a contemporary design that looks elegant both inside and out, our flat single unit rooflights are available in a variety of options; manufactured to specification. These include:

• Fixed — A non-venting flat rooflight that provides a simple and effective solution for filling a space with natural light.
• Ventilating — Hinged to combine natural ventilation with daylight, these are operated with a concealed chain motor.
• Circular — For a little more visual interest, a circular glass rooflight adds character to the space.
• Walk-on — Suitable for areas with pedestrians, such as terraces and roof gardens, our walk-on rooflights are made of toughened and laminated glass. Anti-slip coating is available for additional safety.
• Linear — A row of connected flat rooflights with a unique drainage system that allows one, some or all modules to be opened for ventilation.
