Circularlight (formerly Vitral SkyVision)

For buildings with an extraordinary architectural style, Circularlight can be installed to provide natural light and visual interest. The elegant round shape can serve as a single focal point, or multiple units can be combined to create an array that looks great both inside and out.

Circularlight is a non-venting single-unit rooflight that comprises a double-glazed top unit and a top plate that can be mounted on a builders kerb.

Circularlight Rooflights are supported by a 10-year guarantee.

Circularlight Rooflights are produced off-site at our factory. They consist of a glass top unit and a wooden top plate with gaskets. The bespoke products are available as fixed modules only and are supplied without upstands, so they should be installed on builder's kerb.

 Circularlight module construction

1. Aluminium frame - Welded and powder coated aluminium frame with the standard colour RAL 7043, gloss 30
2. Low-E double glazing
3. Silk screen print - The silk screen print gives a nice finish, as well as UV protection for the gaskets and underlying construction
4. Gaskets - A top plate with gaskets provides watertight and airtight construction
5. Upstand/sub-construction - Not provided by VELUX Commercial

Circularlight Rooflights are made to measure and can be configured, manufactured and delivered in bespoke sizes in a limited size range.

Circularlight low-energy double glazing

Circularlight can be designed with double- or triple glazing units with the following features:

• Insulated glazing with argon filling (Ug values down to 1.1 W/m²K)
• Toughened outer glass
• Laminated inner safety glass
• Warm edge spacer (protects insulation over time and minimises the risk of condensation at pane edges)
• The glazing unit is glued into the aluminium frame with a UV-resistant silicone
  
• The glazing unit has a 115mm black silk print along the edge of the rooflight to prevent thermal breakage
